Virgin of Guadalupe Celebration

The Spanish-speaking members of the Cathedral invite you to join them for a special event honoring La Virgen de Guadalupe. Starting with a procession around the neighborhood, the celebration continues with the Eucharist service and concludes with a feast of tamales.
A Service of Lessons and Carols for Christmas

Members of the Cathedral Schola offer a heart-warming and beautiful service of Scripture readings and carols, to usher in the Christmas season in the tradition of the Church of England. “Room in the Inn”: A Las Posadas Christmas Eve Celebration
Friday, December 24, 5 pm, In-Person in the Cathedral
This year, we will welcome the birth of Jesus with a bilingual Las Posadas celebration for all ages, a tradition from Latin America which symbolizes the Biblical journey of Mary and Joseph as they searched for shelter in Bethlehem before the birth of Jesus. Children will bear a processional float and travel from door to door in the Cathedral, asking that we welcome the stranger in our midst and make room for the Savior.
Solemn Midnight Mass

Join us for one of the highlights of the Cathedral year, when we celebrate the birth of Christ. The celebration, presided over by our Bishop, features members of the Cathedral Choir, instrumentalists, pageantry, carols, and a sermon from the Cathedral’s Dean.
