Earth Month Culminates in Creation Care Sunday

Simpler Living Creation Care Ministry:

At Creation Care Sunday’s Adult Forum, we will learn how diverse faith communities can come together to promote the care of Creation at this critical time. As individuals within the Cathedral community we may also have different ways of looking at our Episcopal faith, yet hopefully we can all agree on the importance of uniting as community to care for God’s good Earth and diversity of creatures who dwell herein!

Another way to care for Creation as part of the Episcopal community is to contact Congress in an appeal by The Episcopal Church Office of Government Relations to vote against any Congressional repeal of the Inflation Reduction Act. This legislation passed by Congress provides tax credits, grants, loans, and investments on sorely needed clean energy initiatives across the country.

Please consider contacting your representative and Senators on this important act at risk. (Click Here)

Finally, one more way we can act in community is to join hundreds of people to Unite For Climate on Saturday, May 3 at 11 am at Waterfront Park. Along with San Diego 350 and over forty environmental, social justice, and faith groups, St Paul’s Cathedral is a sponsor of this important event.
