The Climate Action Campaign has alerted us to the EPA’s threat of loosening 2024 environmental protections that are keeping hazardous coal ash out of our most vulnerable communities. Arsenic, lead, chromium, and radium are linked to serious health outcomes. Communities of concern are most often in the vicinity of the coal plants that produce these deadly toxins.
Please contact the EPA to maintain current protections for the health of children, families, and entire communities.
