These words remind us that Creation Care concerns are often intersectional, and how we are all connected with Creation.

Gracious God,
We marvel at the beauty and diversity of your world. As we witness its devastation because of cruel greed and a lack of compassion, we are are also aware of your blessings through leaders who have devoutly followed your son, our brother, Jesus. We remember such a leader, our brother Martin, at the anniversary of his birth. Grant us the same courageous passion for your world that we may work for environmental justice at this crucial time. We ask this through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
