Songs for a Saturday (Great Hall Concert Series)

St. Paul’s opens its Great Hall concert series this fall with a delightful performance by soprano Angelina Réaux, and baritone Michael Sokol singing “Songs for a Saturday”. This program includes some of musical theatre’s loveliest love songs and duets, songs from the American Songbook and  songs from composers such as Poulenc, Ravel, Bernstein, Sondheim, and Ricky Ian Gordon.

Bernstein  protégée, Angelina Réaux and San Diego Opera favorite, Michael Sokol, are joined by PLNU Collaborative pianist, Melva Morrison in a twilight celebration of songs they love to sing.

Fresh off their success in Bodhi Tree’s production of AUTUMN VALENTINE, this husband and wife team are especially pleased to present this enchanting program at St. Paul’s were Michael is a member of the Evensong Schola under the direction of  Canon Martin Green.
