More on Loving Our Neighbors

Sacred Ground in Action and EDSD Immigration Ministries:

There are two ways to help our migrant neighbors who find themselves overnight at the airport on their way to their final destination after they have been cleared by Border Patrol.

Volunteers meet at the Episcopal Diocese offices each Monday from 3-5:30pm to prep sack lunches You are encouraged to join this group and/or your generous donations of peanut butter, jam, cereal bars, small bags of chips, cookies, brown paper lunch bags, sandwich bags, and hand wipes.

If you have questions, call ahead to Robert Vivar, EDSD Immigration Missioner, (619) 327-6673, rvivar@edsd.org.

You can also join with other Cathedral volunteers on Thursday, April 18 from noon to 1:30 to prepare meals in a bag. We always share the local news; and stay for and optional brown bag lunch and tea afterwards. For more information, dianelopezhughes@me.com.
