From our Simpler Living Creation Car ministry:
Aren’t we blessed to live so close to our magnificent Pacific Ocean? How often do you walk the beach, catch some rays there while sunbathing, enjoy water sports, swim with the fishes? Appreciate the meditative waves and magnificent sunsets? Wouldn’t it be good to know how you can express your gratitude for this glorious and life-sustaining part of God’s good Creation?
What about joining hundreds of thousand of volunteers throughout the world in the 38th Annual Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 17. You can learn more about it at cleansd.org.
Registration opens Thursday, September 1 at cleanupday.org. If we know that we have enough interested folks from the Cathedral we can form a team! If you are interested, please contact dianelopezhughes@gmail.com
This is one of several Season of Creation-related events being promoted by the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego. For more on what St Paul’s and others in the diocese are doing in September, go to check out our schedule HERE!
Meanwhile, Happy Beachcombing!
