Dignity, Not Mass Detention

Sacred Ground In Action Initiative

The Episcopal Migration Caucus calls on all Episcopalians to consider signing on to Dignity, Not Mass Detention: An urgent statement. It begins:

Remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them; those who are being tortured, as though you yourselves were being tortured. (Heb. 13:3) Read the entire statement (Click Here)

You can sign on to the statement as an individual (Click Here)

Prayer:

Gracious God, we thank you for the amazing diversity of your people. Please grant courage and commitment to our nation and its leaders, especially those in charge of immigration laws and policy, that they may affirm and act on the truth that all human beings deserve life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and treat migrants with dignity and compassion. Amen Adapted from an Episcopal Migration Caucus prayer
