The political divide among Americans seems to have been exacerbated and made more apparent during the Trump Presidency. Our anxieties as we approach this year’s election is a reflection of this. This divide is marked by an epistemic crisis, which has been deepened as a result of certain trends that have converged since 2016. This presentation explores how this has impacted civic life, governance, and our faith in our democratic institutions.
