The Season of Creation Care Continues

From St. Paul’s Simpler Living Creation Care Ministry:

The books are piling up for Sunday’s Simpler Living Book Swap! Up to 9/22, your well-read selections can be dropped in the yellow bins in the breezeway. The Simpler Living Book Swap invites us to re-gift/recycle books and declutter our bookshelves at the same time! On 9/22 the Book Swap table will be open from 8:45 – noon. For more information: carolynglief@gmail.com

And to take concrete action this September, consider endorsing the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty (Click Here).

This proposal is a complement to the 2016 Paris Agreement, a legally binding international treaty on climate change to keep the global temperature under 1.5o

Centigrade. The treaty would fast-track the adoption of renewable energy and economic diversification away from fossil fuels so that no worker, community, or country is left behind. Click here for more information!

Great news! If there is enough interest, Simpler Living and St Bart’s Environmental Stewardship Committee will co-host a Lenten/Earth Month Creation Care study. For more information you can view The Episcopal Church Creation Care Ministry’s Love God, Love God’s World study (Click here for more details).
