Forgiving God, you call us to be a people of reconciliation and restoration, serving a world in need. For the sake of your son, who died to forgive all our sins, engage us in supporting efforts towards a more compassionate criminal justice system, moving beyond ourselves in order to seek and serve you and one another. Amen.
