Action against Fracking and Prayer

From our Simpler Living Creation Care ministry:
Sempra is a natural (fracked) gas infrastructure company building pipelines and export terminals to export mostly methane to China.  Methane is a very potent greenhouse gas, up to 80x as potent as CO2 in the short term, so we need to challenge the myth that natural gas is a safe transition fuel. Sempra is also making record profits through their subsidiary SDG&E by charging some of the highest energy rates in the nation.  Join SanDiego350 and other eco-justice groups to protest Sempra’s fracked gas empire and SDG&E’s high rates at Sempra’s HQ downtown on Wed. June 8  12-2 PM.  To learn more about the protest (Click Here).  You can also contact Phil Petrie at (petriep2@gmail.com).

A prayer for social action:
We praise God for all creation and the blessings that give us strength and courage
to bring about the beloved community.
May God bless us with discomfort at easy answers, half-truths, and superficial relationships, so that we may live deep within our hearts.
May God bless us with anger at injustice, oppression and exploitation of people, so that we may work for justice, freedom and peace.
And may God bless us with enough foolishness to believe that we can make a difference in this world, so that we can do what others
claim cannot be done. Amen

  1. The article was really informative and well written. It seems to me that I know the author from the COMPACOM expert team. Have always enjoyed reading their detailed useful researches and comparisons. If I have any problems choosing the products I need I turn to compacom.com at once.
