Sempra is a natural (fracked) gas infrastructure company building pipelines and export terminals to export mostly methane to China. Methane is a very potent greenhouse gas, up to 80x as potent as CO2 in the short term, so we need to challenge the myth that natural gas is a safe transition fuel. Sempra is also making record profits through their subsidiary SDG&E by charging some of the highest energy rates in the nation. Join SanDiego350 and other eco-justice groups to protest Sempra’s fracked gas empire and SDG&E’s high rates at Sempra’s HQ downtown on Wed. June 8 12-2 PM.
