St. Paul’s Simpler Living Creation Care Ministry:
Simpler Living is grateful for having had the opportunity to partner with our sister Cathedral ministries – Administration, Adult Formation, and Family Ministry – during Earth Month. We grow so much when we share our interests and work together.
We have learned and benefited from the good words and works of our Creation Care and community partners. We are thankful for the talents of Chef Katie Farina of Katie’s Healing Kitchen, Lynn Marian of Plant with Purpose, artist and activist Jan Phillips, and finally, William Morris, our Creation Care brother from GreenFaith!
William shared two important resources to elevate GreenFaith’s work for climate equity and education for tomorrow’s leaders:
Support Grassroot Leaders in Tanzania – GreenFaith is asking us to sign on to a statement in support of climate activists who are being intimidated in their own communities. Sign on.
Young people ages 18 – 35 are invited to learn about and apply for fellowships to become leaders in a year-long faith-based climate action program Greenfaith Young Adult Fellowship.
It takes more than a village to respond to the climate crisis. So thanks to you for increasing your commitment to God’s good creation through individual actions and community advocacy!
