Who is your neighbor? The Community Dinner Party Project is a monthly meeting of people from Bankers Hill and surrounding neighborhoods. Although sponsored by St. Paul’s Cathedral this space is intended to be a non-sectarian, non-religious, safe environment to make connection and form cohesion with your community. Food is generally donated by local restaurants and available for free. We hope you’ll join us and bring your good vibes!

Additional dates for 2024: Oct. 16, Nov.20, we will not meet in December.

In the Guild Room (2728 Sixth Ave, San Diego, CA 92103, entrance on 5th & 6th Ave.)

Grab your controllers and get ready to battle it out with friends and fellow gamers. Whether you’re into Mario Cart, Splatoon, FIFA, or other games, there’s something for everyone. Complimentary drinks, snacks, and pizza will be served. Under age 7 must be accompanied by an adult.

Bring your furry, feathered or scaled friend to the St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral for a blessing from our priests!  Each year St. Paul’s Cathedral honors Saint Francis of Assisi, known as the patron saint of animals, with our annual Blessing of the Animals Event where we invite you to bring your pet to our 10:30 am worship service and offer them a blessing afterward in the courtyard.  Anyone (regardless of religious affiliation) is welcome to attend this event in its entirety.   


Saturday, October 26, 4 – 6 PM
St. Paul’s Senior Services Parking Lot (328 W Maple St, San Diego, CA 92103)

Join us for our annual Trunk or Treat in the St. Paul’s Senior Services parking lot! What is Trunk or Treat? It is an alternative to Trick or Treating which, takes place in one location, where children go from car trunk to car trunk collecting sweets. It is especially convenient for families with younger children, provides access to Halloween festivities for those not in a typical residential neighborhood and in many ways a much safer way to enjoy the holiday.

Join us for a free dinner and a movie at St. Paul’s.

Keeping the Faith” starring Ben Stiller, Jenna Elfman, and Edward Norton. Two friends, a priest and a rabbi, fall in love with the same woman they knew in their youth, but the religious position of both men denies them romance.
