Outreach & Mission
Cathedral Collectibles
In-kind gifts to the store help support Uptown Faith Community Service Center and the Cathedral Ministries. Clothing donations are given to the homeless in our neighborhood – a good sense of giving back.

Dorcas House
Dorcas House provides housing, food, education and a safe environment for children of incarcerated parents. This ministry provides opportunities for cathedral members to reach outside the walls of the cathedral to develop relationships and understanding with the children and staff of Dorcas House and to experience the life of the people of Mexico and Tijuana and develop an understanding of their relationship to us.

Hispanic Ministries
Welcome to the Hispanic Ministry of St. Paul’s Cathedral. We celebrate Mass on Sunday mornings. Everyone is invited to celebrate the Holy Eucharist in Spanish. We also celebrate traditional cultural events such as Día de los Muertos, Posadas, and our annual Serenade for Our Lady of Guadalupe. We also offer First Communions, Baptisms and Quinceañeras. The Guadalupe Art Program is a spiritual empowerment workshop for Latina youth (ages 10 through 17) throughout the Diocese of San Diego and Tijuana. Using the theme of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the central spiritual image in Latino culture, young girls are invited to explore and develop the sacredness of their own lives through art, music and dance.
