Is there a new ministry you would like to help start at St. Paul’s?:

Community service opportunities of possible interest::

Hands Up Food Pantry: Distribute food to individuals and families throughout San Diego.

Kids at Heart: One-on-one tutoring for low-income and at-risk youth (about an hour a week at St. Paul’s).

Episcopal Relief and Development: Serve the world by selling Bishop’s Blend coffee after services/organize the Annual Alternative Gifts Expo.

Mamas Kitchen/Special Delivery: Help prepare and/or deliver meals to those suffering from AIDS

Stonewall: Ride along in neighborhood patrols to help reduce crime (3 hours a month or more).

St. Paul’s Senior Homes & Services: Lots of opportunities available working with seniors. Help out at events, organize activities, drivers and more.

Tomorrow Project: Work with homeless women assembling soup packets for retail sales and fundraising (weekly or bi-weekly).

Uptown / Alpha Project for the Homeless: Help staff homeless service center in North Park (weekdays only).
